Staff Bios
Andrew McMasters (Artistic Director; Co-Founder)Andrew McMasters has a BA in Theater from Temple University, and an MFA in Drama from the University of Washington as well as a certificate in Arts Management. Originally from Philadelphia, he relocated to Seattle in 1990 where he met Mike Christensen and started Jet City Improv. He works nationally as an actor, and has taught improv and theater internationally.
Renee Mona (Managing Director)Renee Mona brings 25 years of experience in business, education and non-profit sectors to her role as Managing Director at Wing-It Productions. During her 15 year tenure with AT&T she was the National Account Manager for Nordstrom, helping them open their first East Coast stores in the 90s. While at AT&T she began teaching as an adjunct faculty at the University of Phoenix (UOPhx) in Seattle, teaching both undergraduate and graduate business and marketing courses. She was soon hired as the first General Studies College Chair, and subsequently, became the Campus Director for the five Western Washington campuses.
While at UOPhx she joined the state board of Communities In Schools of Washington (CISWA), a national non-profit focused on dropout prevention. She soon became the board chair for two years. Renee was then asked by the organization's founder to step in as the first President and CEO. In late 2007 Renee accepted a position at the University of Washington, Foster School of Business as the Director of Corporate and Alumni Engagement.
Renee is a published writer and hobby artist who enjoys playing and creating collage art. And one of these days she hopes to finish her book "Life Lessons of a Lama Mama" based on her ten years of experience raising llamas.
Mike Christensen (Jet City Improv / Twisted Flicks Director; Co-Founder)Mike Christensen holds a BFA in Theater Arts from the University of Nebraska (Kearney), and an MFA in Acting from the University of Idaho. Originally from Nebraska, he relocated to Seattle in 1988 to begin improvising and met Andrew McMasters at an audition. Together they founded Jet City Improv in May 1992. Mike has performed internationally, as well as directing, coaching, teaching, and living improv.
Brandon Jepson (Production Director)Brandon Jepson (a Seattle native) first joined Jet City Improv in 1998. He holds a BA in Drama from UW (where he focused on Stage Management and Directing). Throughout the years, while performing in many shows at Wing-It Productions, he held such various staff positions as Technical Director, Web Designer and Managing Director, until a title change in 2011. He is a teaching artist with Wing-It, and he has created and directed such shows on the Wing-It stage as the Saturday Morning Cartoon Show* (considered one of the very first Wing-It Presents shows), Clues (2006 & 2010) and Over and Through.

Jeannine Clarke (Marketing Director)Jeannine Clarke has a BA in Theater from the University of Washington. Originally from Springfield, Oregon, she relocated to Seattle to study acting and costume design. She works locally as a scripted, improv and film actor. She began working with Wing-It as an actor, and has appeared in 12 Wing-It Presents shows. She also occasionally designs costumes, and was nominated for a Broadway World Seattle award for her design of Men of Action. In 2011 she started her own small theater company: Seattle Experimental Theater.
Ian Schempp (Social Media Director)
Ian Schempp received a B.S. in Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College in 2001. Aside from managing Wing-It's social media presence and being a company member of Jet City Improv, he is also a web developer for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and a lover of all things internet.
