Education Outreach > The Bridge Program
The Bridge Program was born out our longstanding partnership with the King County Juvenile Detention Center in 2008.
Formerly-incarcerated youth are given the opportunity to work in a safe and steady environment at Wing-It Productions.
Since 2008 Wing-It has mentored six Bridge Students. Bridge Students are paired with mentors who assist them in developing communication and soft skills. Previous Bridge Students have worked our front of house operating our cash registers, distributing marketing materials as part of our street team, and entering data in our administrative office. Students and mentors are paid for their work which comes directly from your donation to our Outreach Programs.
As the program evolves our goal is to provide our students with more resources and training in hopes of preparing them for steady employment in the community.
